Refit Information

Major Reft 2016

Hull and plating:
- 16 new pillars inside the bulwark welded
- Renewal/repair of all vent pipes and inlets on main deck
- Bridge house in front of wheelhouse completely renewed
- Installation of new longitudinal stiffeners to support forward part of wheelhouse roof
- New aluminium panels on access stair to fly bridge
- Renewal of funnel and mast
- Renewal of material around the staircase main deck-sun deck.

Paint and fairing:
- Total dismantling of everything attached to hull, deck and superstructure
- Sandblasting the aluminium superstructure to SA 2.0
- Sandblasting the steel hull to SA 2.0.
- Total new fairing
- Total new Boero paint system respecting specifications and instructions.

Hull openings:
- Sealing all windows, new glass of all windows including wheelhouse
- All 16 portholes have been dismantled, treated and replaced
- Two new fixed windows in mahogany frame on top of the corridor

Propulsion and technical installation:
- New valves on fuel level tubes
- Replacement of part of the fuel piping for certified types
- Revision exhaust valves on hull
- Revision of sea chest and oil exchanger at stabilizers
- Revision of sea chests
- Cleaning oil tanks
- Oil for hydraulic change
- Revision of sealing on shafts and bearing exchange
- Revision steering system
- New pipes for fuel and black water. Tank level indicator in ER and electric gauge in wheelhouse
- Revision of bilge alarms, including check/renewal of valves
- Overhaul of the black water discharge
- New resistors in water heaters
- Overhaul of the general-purpose sea pump
- Overhaul of the four electric pumps in the ER
- Overhaul of 2-stage bilge pumps

*All pumps have been totally overhauled on the specialists (Miveme) workbench and bearings and
brushes have been renewed
- Exhaust terminals provided with new fanges
- Installation of two new exhaust gas bellows
- Labelling manifold & pipelines
- Total bilge cleaning
- Normal maintenance such as lube oil, filters lube, filters fuel, fuel separators, air filters, drive belts, gear
boxes lube oil, all impellers have been renewed and/or cleaned.
- Opening and cleaning of all tanks: fuel, fresh water, black and grey
- Replacement of hydraulic lines for Opacmare gangway
- Starboard shower on main deck with cold and hot water
- Air conditioning cleaning and disinfection of fan coils
- Installation schemes of holding tanks and pipelines
- Renewal and certification of the fire-fighting equipment
- Improvement on the AC fan coil system
- Re-organizing of cabling routes in ER

Electrical Installations:
- Installation of new Mastervolt charger 24/80
- Installation of new Opacmare gangway control units
- Two fxed spot lights with teak base on stern
- New searching light on mast
- New fridge, dishwasher and laundry/tumble dryer installed
- New service batteries, 6 x 220 Ah
- New start batteries Flash Power, 2 x 40 Ah

- Main engines and gearboxes rebuilt (zero rated) 2016

- New wood parts on handrail, gunwale, upper panels on deck house dinette and corridors, new external deck heads
- New door frame on wheelhouse and galley
- Four new bow seats and lockers
- New cushions over all sunbathing area on top of the wheelhouse
- Teak cup holders on mast
- New wooden name plates
- New steps + ss hand rails from sundeck to flybridge deck

Navigation and Communication Equipment:
- The navcom antennas have been re-arranged and positioned
- The bridge had a soft make over
- Up to date interface of data with the Simrad instruments

Equipment and Miscellaneous:
- Renewal and certification of the safely equipment
- Crane testing
- New mooring lines, 4 x 25 m, diam. 28 mm
- Renewal of passerelle, stanchions and rail rope
- New winter cover for tender
- Supply of ps folding ladder
