1972 Smedvik Mek Servus

location icon Southampton, Hampshire
Year 1972
Length 75 ft
Price
£150,000

Servus ex Lars Christensen is a worthwhile conversion project.

Similar to the very well known FrederikstadĀ bult by Smedvik in 1968 and transformed by the great Peter de Savary this example is most certainly another worth while project ready for conversion.

Huge bunkering capacity and the engine room is in excellent condition with a refit in 1998 and again out fo the water this summer. The vessel is currently in serviceable condition. We have a suggested GA for the conversion but the vessel will need significant structural steel work and systems update to make her a classic and elegant go anywhere little ship.

Originally built to ice class and used as a support vessel for the Norwegian fishing fleet in Arctic waters she was a hospital ship, support vessel, towing vessel and bunkering for fishing boats running low on fuel.
