1994 Aquastar 80

TABOO is a custom sailing yacht completed by Aqua Star in the UK. She has only had one owner since new. She has seen 22 knots !!!

TABOO has received continuous care and attention and has been modified and upgraded with the latest technology. She was built by the Aquastar shipyard in Guernsey. TABOO was specifically designed to be used for Caribbean charters. The five double guest cabins each have a head / shower compartment. The Saloon is spacious and occupies the full width of the hull at its maximum beam and offers a good sized dining table. There is very good deck space for sunbathing and a very large guest cockpit with a separate steering cockpit.

She is based on a Whitbred race circumnavigation design, and with her easy schooner rig, she is a serious ocean going yacht. Originally designed to be relatively low maintenance by comparison to most other yacht at thsi size. The rig and rudder depth has been increased by the designer for added performance and the aft section of the stern has also been made fuller and longer.

TABOO is a rare combination of sailing performance, low maintenance and high income. The Owner has enjoyed over 15 years of charter on TABOO. The owners son is in charge and will be carrying out the normal winter refit work this year.
