Refit

The following works were carried out during refit:
a) Any areas of hull corrosion below waterline was ground out with replacement sections welded in.
b) Tanks inspected and repaired where necessary.
c) All blistered paint was ground out with the surfaces primed and repaired.
d) All hull and deck fittings were removed and serviced.
e) Teak was removed throughout.
f) The whole vessel was sanded back, primed and repainted using Jotuns megagloss AC paint system in Aria White.
g) All window seals were raked out and replaced after painting.
h) New teak decks were laid throughout in 11mm teak sanded after install.
i) All skin fittings and valves were removed and either serviced or replaced where non serviceable.
j) The vessel was fitted with new propeller shafts and couplings with replacement cutlass bearings laser aligned and installed prior to fit of new shafts.
k) All porthole seals were replaced.
l) Hull thickness survey was carried out.
m) Anchor pockets were removed, hull corrosion behind was cropped out and replaced, anchor pockets were polished and resealed.
n) Two new anchor capstans were installed with replacement hydraulic power packs and new power supply.
o) New aft mooring winches were fitted.
p) New aft platform cleats were installed.
q) Main engines and gears were serviced.
r) Generators were serviced.
s) New generator main circuit breakers were installed and programmed.
t) Stainless steel handrails were repaired and installed on insulated spigots.
u) A full electrical megger test was carried out with electrical repairs carried out.
v) The hull was undercoated and coated with 2 coats of antifouling.
w) All zinc anodes replaced.
x) Deck crane serviced and tested.
y) Steering system serviced.
z) The passarelle was removed and serviced however these works are incomplete with damage found iwo passarelle and guide shimming works incomplete.
aa) Fixed fire fighting system serviced and certificated.
bb) Bilge & pump overhauled with new seals and bearings.
cc) Fire system pipework sections replaced with new where corroded.
dd) Sewage treatment plant serviced and re commissioned.
ee) Bilge and fire system tested.
