Southampton, Hampshire

$38,591

MALIBU 247 Wakesetter built in 2012 by one of the foremost specialist wake board and surfing boats in the USA. HYUNDAI S270 270 bhp @ 3800 r/min EU RCD 2 / IMO Tier 2 / US EPA T3

From 2011, Malibu has pumped up this 2012 247 Wakesetter LSV. Redesigned inside and out, the 247 handles more people (17 in total), has more features and this example is fitted with the very torquey Hyundai Seasall diesel.

The interior now accommodates 17 people. The large J-shape seating lounge features three coaming enclosures with cupholders and grab handles and room for optional 8-inch Rockford Fosgate speakers.

The coamings and rear bench also come with stainless-steel Malibu name plates illuminated by gee-whiz LED lighting very cool.

At the swim platform, Malibu built in a couple of “couches” at the rear of the sunpad. They’re ideal for gearing up for a run or just hanging out. They have wet stowage underneath, which is great for stashing ropes, gloves and binding lubricant. The sunpad also comes with stowage to either side of the engine, accessible through side-hinged panels.

Durability and Reliability
The use of Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) for the cylinder block gives Hyundai
SeasAll engines several advantages. The CGI block is lighter and quieter than
conventional grey cast iron and demonstrates at least 85 percent higher tensile
strength, 45 percent higher stiffness and approximately double the fatigue
strength of iron and aluminum. It lasts longer than even we ever expected.
This technology is a prime example of the innovation and improvement we
bring to the marine engine industry. With Hyundai SeasAll, you are on the
cutting edge.
