The MAN / Siemens hybrid propulsion system can operate in six different modes as follows:

3. Hybrid Mode - 1 x Main Engine only for propulsion and hotel load, 11kts max, 10kts cruise with range approx 4,500nm
4. Traditional Mode - 2 x Main Engines, 1 x Generator. 17.5kts max, 12kts cruise with range approx 4,200nm
5. Shaft Alternator Mode - 2 x Main Engines only, 16kts max, 12kts cruise with range approx 4,700nm.
